A
simple soup based on tomatoes and bread to feed your friends and family while
celebrating life.
Ingredients
3
tablespoons of olive oil
1040
g of pomodori pelati (2 big Italian cans)
3
cloves of garlic, sliced
3
celery stalks, cut into small pieces
8
slices of white bread in cubes
3
cubes of vegetal broth
To garnish
Fresh
basil leaves
Parmesan
cheese
Preparation
- Put olive oil, pomodori and its juice, and celery in a big stockpan.
- Add 3,6 litres of water and three cubes of broth. Bring it to boil.
- After boiling for half an hour, add the white bread. Let it boil for half an hour more on a low flame.
- Remove from heat, blender it into a smooth soup and leave it for a while.
- Sprinkle it with basil and Parmiggiano and serve.
